Recruiting Report: Kejuan Clements (2019)

<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Simeon 2019 point guard <strong>Kejuan Clements</strong> is one of the top incoming freshman guards in the state.  The 6’1” Clements is powerful with the rock in his hands.  He is a long armed playmaker that likes to play flashy, but there are a lot of tools to work with from the young lead guard.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Clements impressed at the NY2LA Sports Futures Camp.  He talked about the experience.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">“It has gone great.  A lot of competition.  You have to step it up on the defensive side.”</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">What type of player would Clements describe himself as?</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">“A pass first point guard.  Anyone can score, but I like to pass.”</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Clements was a key part of a Meanstreets 14U team that placed top 10 in the nation.  He says has already received early recruiting interest from Loyola.</span></span></p>
