Recruiting Report: Bryce Davis (2018)

<p>At <strong>Deer Valley </strong>high school, the Skyhawks have been led in recent years by 2015 graduates <strong>Rees Plummer</strong> & <strong>Edward Hardt</strong> both respectively at <strong>Phoenix College</strong> & <strong>Mesa Community College</strong>. Picking up where they left off and improving is the plan for head coach <strong>Jed Dunn</strong> & staff. A key part in that will be the continued development of rising 2018 prospect <strong>Bryce Davis</strong>. Davis is a 6&#39;5 wing who has a lot to offer in a game on both ends of the floor.</p><p>This past summer he played with DVHS in the <strong>DVHS Summer League</strong>. Davis felt summer league "went very well and we got a chance to grow a lot as a team." Davis really enjoys DVHS. This is due in part to "a lot of the friends I have go there that I have known for awhile and we have a great coach that has his best interest for me and pushes me and holds me accountable to be the best I can be."</p> <p>In July Davis played with the <strong>Arizona ACES </strong>& <strong>Give N Go. </strong>Davis felt "July was very beneficial. I played in some good tournaments in California & Vegas." Since July Davis has spent the preseason "working on getting fundamentally sound and improving overall in every aspect as a player.</p> <p>With the season starting this week Davis&#39; outlook on the season is "we are overlooked but we will be a tough team that will compete."</p> <p>Keep tabs on Davis & the Skyhawks of DVHS at <strong>PrepHoops Arizona</strong>.</p>
