Team Previews: #22 Desert Ridge

<p><u><strong>Head Coach:</strong></u> Greg Ream</p><p><u><strong>Affiliation:</strong></u> AIA, Division 1, Section 3</p> <p><u><strong>Top Dog(s):</strong></u> Timmy Allen (6’5”, G/F, SO);</p> <p><strong><u>Sleeper:</u></strong> Billy Jordan (6’7”, F, JR);</p> <p><u><strong>Notes:</strong></u> The Jaguars have something that not many teams can claim—a legitimate star player in 6’5” sophomore <strong>Timmy Allen</strong>. While Timmy had a solid freshman campaign expect for him to be a major player in the Mr. Basketball running this season. Other than Allen, no other major contributor will have much experience. However, that doesn’t mean they aren’t talented. 6’2” <strong>Keith Holmes </strong>emerged as one of the top juniors in the state while playing on the travel circuit this past spring and summer. His activity and athleticism will help him to make a big impact for Desert Ridge on both ends. After a growth spurt 6’7” <strong>Billy Jordan</strong> has also become one of the state’s biggest sleepers. This trio gives the Jaguars a chance to have a very successful team for the next two seasons.</p>
