Team Previews: #12. Pinnacle

<p><u><strong>Head Coach:</strong></u> Charlie Wilde</p><p><u><strong>Affiliation:</strong></u> AIA, Division 1, Section 2</p> <p><u><strong>Top Dog(s):</strong></u> AJ Elliot (6’7”, F, SR); Nik Mains (6’9”, F, SR);</p> <p><u><strong>Sleeper:</strong></u> Jordan Mains (6’1”, G, FR);</p> <p><u><strong>Notes:</strong></u> The Pioneers are a lot less experienced than they have been in the past but they are plenty talented. They have veterans in the frontcourt with 6’7” <strong>AJ Elliot</strong> and<strong> Nik Mains</strong>, a pair of seniors that complement each other well. Elliot is an interior enforcer with a great motor. Mains is a skilled shooting forward who really turned a corner this summer and fall in terms of his aggressiveness and production level. 6’7” senior<strong> Tyson Wahlberg</strong>, 6’6” junior<strong> Connor Hatchings</strong>, and 6’6” sophomore <strong>Patrick Kelly</strong> add depth. The backcourt, while talented is very unproven. 5’11” junior<strong> Nate Gorsech</strong> will get the first shot at the point guard position. He will share the responsibilities with 5’10” freshman <strong>Trent Brown</strong>. 2019 classmate<strong> Jordan Mains</strong> could develop into a key player as well.</p>
