Nathan Mills – 2017 PF – Perry Meridian
Mills has been a name in the 2017 class to watch if he gained a little more height to match his style of play. He has grown a bit and he looked good at the combine. The 6'6 prospect isn't the most athletic forward but he has quite a bit of skill and in the post he can be quite a force to stop with his array of post moves.
Stevie Mack – 2017 PF – New Washington
First time really getting to see Mack was interesting. He's a big body who does well keeping his space and creating contact in the post. He runs the floor well and is really mobile but isn't going to be a big time athlete. He's a guy that can be, at 6'7, a strong low post scorer and rebounder. His hands are pretty solid and in terms of potential, there is some there to like quite a bit.
WYATT HUGHES – 2016 PF – MACONAQUAH
Hughes measured in better than I thought at 6'8 and has legit strength down low. Much more of a face-up forward right now but I think he'll have to even out his inside-out game in the next year. He's shown the ability to play on the block at times and it would go a long way.
Mitchell Meagher – 2017 PF – Scottsburg
Meagher isn't your typical post player and he's likely to be a perimeter forward at a lower level program but he showed the ability this weekend to be productive in the paint. A thicker, strong prospect, Mitchell can take his guy off the bounce with the right matchup. Want to see his shooting ability be more of a focus in the future but he performed really well this weekend in all facets.
Mike Pitz – 2017 C – Carmel
Pitz is a guy that understands his job and position more than most his age and while he isn't going to blow you away with his athleticism, he's a guy that gets the job done. Mike is strong and has a solid body but isn't going to be a tall post player. He uses fakes and quickness in small areas to finish in the post. Tough and gives tons of effort in every game. Undervalued in terms of efficiency.
