VanBeekum is a 6'4 guard who possesses a strong knack of playing the game. When you watch him play he is calm, cool, & collected on the floor. Playing for Mark MacGowan he will need to be a leader this year on the floor for the Trojans. PV has a chance to make a deep playoff run yet again. A school with deep tradition, PV always seems to be a strong contender no matter what division they are in.
Playing for the Arizona Warriors the past spring & summer was very beneficial for Cj. Looking into his recruitment Cj has heard from some smaller programs, Cj said he has heard a little from the Navy but will look for some more interest from more schools that will develop into an offer potential after a great high school season. Cj also is looking forward to participating in the PrepHoops Arizona Combine to increase his visibility as a top underrated prospect in Arizona.
