UPCOMING SEASON
Current Roster Makeup: Last season, McCutcheon lost one of the biggest contributors in Tre'Shon Heard. Replacing him will be tough but there are plenty of options to pick up the points with the emergence of Haden Deaton, Robert Phinisee, and the transfer of Eddy Collins. Darnell Butler returns as the biggest scoring option on the team and gives them some size to play with. They will lack true post presence but that is something Coach Peckinpaugh has dealt with in the past and shouldn't be an issue with their schedule. Collins, Jayden Elliott, and Eddy Collins will be a solid backcourt with Deaton and Parker Bares providing some wing scoring options. They won't be deep after their starting lineup but they should be able to plug in some two-sport athletes to provide help.
2015-16 Season Outlook: This should be a very good season for Peckinpaugh and McCutcheon. They restructured the conference so they now get some tougher, but winnable games to strengthen their resume. They are likely to be the best team in the Lafayette area and should have a great record at the end of the season. Sectionals will be interesting with a young Zionsville team and Logansport also lurking in the shadows. They could easily look to repeat and get back to the very tough Marion Regional.
