Division 5 Preview

<p>The rarely talked about division 5 is filled with many talented top teams. Many of the teams are in northern & southern Arizona however these kids & teams are very talented. This could be one of the more competitive divisions in the entire state. Keep tabs on D5 basketball at <strong>PrepHoops Arizona</strong>.</p><h2>Top 5 (Alphabetically)</h2><h2>El Capitan</h2><p>El Capitan is coming of a 20-6 season in the 2014-15 campaign and look to continue their success into the 2015-16 season as they push for a state championship. Behind junior <strong>Levi Barlow</strong> the Eagles have a chance to compete with D5's best.</p> <h2>Red Valley-Cove</h2><p>Red Valley-Cove is coming off a 21-5 season and look to continue with their winning ways. Last year their season fell short losing to PCDS in the playoffs. Expect RVC to make a push for a state championship in D5.</p> <h2>The Gregory School</h2><p>The Gregory School is coming off a 20 win season last year and will be one of the more talented D5 teams in the state. Look for The Gregory School to turn some heads all around the state.</p> <h2>Valley (Sanders)</h2><p>Valley Sanders is looking to improve upon a 17-7 record from the 2014-15 season. This is promising because they return more than 5 players from last years roster. Keep an eye on Valley Sanders to use their experience to their advantage in D5 this year.</p> <h2>Valley (Union)</h2><p>In 2014-15 Valley Union eventually fell to champion ALA but finished the year 26-4 capping off one of the better years in school history.
