Recruiting Report: Brennan Schofield (2018)

<p>The 2018 class is far from a known commodity but some of the top prospects have separated themselves from others in the class.  One of those is Hamilton Southeastern power forward <strong>Brennan</strong> <strong>Schofield</strong>. </p> <p>The 6&#39;8 post player already had an offer from Saint Francis but picked up his first DI offer this weekend from local program IUPUI.  </p> <p>Schofield is a very skilled post player who can stretch the floor and shoot from distance.  He does a great job of keeping a balance of post and wing play which keeps his versatility high.  Brennan can score in the post in a variety of ways and has enough strength to make plays against tougher defenders.  He isn&#39;t the most athletic forward you will find but his mobility is high and he can score around big players in the post because of it.  </p> <p>Other than IUPUI and Saint Francis, Valparaiso, Notre Dame, Central Michigan, Illinois, Saint Louis, Evansville, Wisconsin, Belmont, Toledo, Oakland, and IPFW have shown interest recently. </p> <p>Schofield is planning out some visits including upcoming trips to IPFW, and Valparaiso.  He is also planning on heading out west to visit Iowa on September 26th for a football game.  </p> <p>Brennan played this AAU season with EG10 2018 and had a solid year.  He was a starter at times last year for Hamilton Southeastern and will look to do that in a full-time role this season and should be one of the best post players in the Indianapolis area.</p>
