Purdue Elite Camp: Top Wings

<p>The Purdue Elite Camp on Saturday was packed with talent.  There were tons of talent from outside the state of Indiana but more than plenty from the Hoosier state.  We continue our look at the top prospects from the day&#39;s action with a look at the top wings.</p> <div> <p><strong>Keion Brooks - 6’5 | SF | 2019 - Fort Wayne North</strong></p> <p>The first time you see Brooks he strikes a crazy resemblance to Kris Wilkes in his look and body and even a little bit of his game.  Brooks is much more of a shooter right now but looked good making some tough passes in the open floor.  He&#39;s got to continue to get stronger but even showed some promise there as he was able to draw contact getting at the rim against some solid post players.</p> <p><strong>Jarron Coleman - 6’2 | SG | 2018 - Cathedral</strong></p> <p>Coleman has proven over the summer and into the fall that he could be more of a guard before he leaves the high school game.  Last year during the season he was really just a catch-and-shoot guy but now he&#39;s being ultra aggressive in the open floor and handling the ball better than expected.  It will be interesting to see how he looks back in the HS game this year.</p> <p><strong>Damezi Anderson - 6’5 | SF | 2018 - South Bend Riley</strong></p> <p>Damezi looked like he usually does, high-powered with not as much effort as you would like on the defensive end.  He showed spurts as he always does that he can be capable or better as a defender but that is his next step in his development. Right now, Damezi can flat out score the ball and shoots it really well from deep. A couple mechanical things to work on but maybe nobody in the class can put up points like he can.</p> <p><strong>Alex King - 6’8 | PF | 2017 - Columbus North</strong></p> <p>King continues to be the most improved player in the 2017 class.  His aggressiveness looking for plays is the biggest reason why.  He was always tall and looked comfortable moving around but he did something that most don&#39;t which is go out and just make a play.  Strength will have to be added but upside is Big Ten level prospect.</p> <p><strong>Franklin Nunn - 6’2 | SG | 2016 - Liberty Christian</strong></p> <p>Nunn was really good in almost every game that day.  He was active and with camps like this it is more of an open flow and free style which compliments his abilities.  In a half-court game Nunn can get shut out but that didn&#39;t happen Saturday.  Really needs a jump shot to gain traction as more of a scoring guard rather than an athletic wing.</p> <p><strong>Musa Jallow - 6’4 | SF | 2018 - Bloomington North</strong></p> <p>Jallow continues to impress every time he plays with and against talent.  Yesterday he got the better of Damezi Anderson a few times on offense but was no match on the defensive end when Anderson wanted to shoot.  Upside resides in him as a 2/3 on the wing but ball handling is holding him back.  It has gotten better and if he keeps improving it will open up a whole new world with his kind of athleticism. </p> <p><strong>Sasha Stefanovic - 6’3 | SG | 2017 - Crown Point</strong></p> <p>Sasha has been one of the more steadily improving wing players in the 2017 class. He&#39;s at a minimum 6&#39;3 now and most believe he will continue to grow.  He&#39;s a very good shooter from distance and has really worked to add a driving game to his arsenal.  If he can grow a bit more and continue adding pieces he might be among the biggest risers in the next six months.</p> </div>
