2017-Matt Johnson 6’1 PG – Rangeview
“Matt took his game to a different level this summer. He averaged over 20pts/6ast/2stls in Chicago Summer Slam and Vegas FAB48 against some of the top guards in the nation at 16U. Matt’s court vision is amazing, which compliments his great ball-handling ability in any direction on the court. Matt has a consistent nice stroke from deep or mid-range (lost art). It would be a great surprise if Matt didn’t contribute heavily for Rangeview this season.”
2019-Jodaun Dotson 6′ PG – Thomas Jefferson
“Jodaun ended his middle school campaign and played up two age groups this summer for Connect’s 16U team. Jodaun was a starter all year and played very well against much older competition. Jodaun’s basketball IQ is off the charts, he knows how to run the team and be a coach on the floor, and his maturity is his greatest strength. 10pts/5ast/4rbs average this year and displayed his crafty ball-handling with a distinct knowledge on how to get the job done as a PG.”
2018-Tray Pierce 6’8 F/C – George Washington
“Tray totally changes the defensive interior of the game. Very long/athletic forward, has a sweet stroke from 18-feet and in, and hits a very high percentage of his free throws, as well. Tray averaged over 10pts/12rbs/3blks a game this year. He’s starting to understand his affect on the game by using his length and athleticism. His interior offensive post game is coming along nicely. Strength and his body maturation in the future will make him a top recruit from Colorado.”
2017-LJ Miles 6’3 G/F – Denver South
“Lefty sensation has the total package: Strength/Size/Stroke/Motor. LJ improved his perimeter game this season a ton, which compliments his aggressiveness to the rim. LJ is a great ball-stopper on defense and rebounds the ball very well for his size. LJ averaged 14pts/8rbs, with many clutch defensive stops this season.”
2017-Tucker Cargile 6’0 G – Denver South
“When he walks in the gym, get a hand up! Tucker can flat-out stroke the ball from any spot on the floor and he also has a tremendous motor on defense. Tucker is a non-stop movement type player, which wears down the opponent on defense. Tucker averaged 13 points this summer and shot 50% from the floor.”
2017-Elon Ashford 6’4 PF – Machebeuf
“Bruising forward with great footwork and very soft touch. Elon has found his niche as a throwback PF, snatching the ball off the glass with the ability to take it coast-to-coast i.e. Barkley/Mason/Worthy. Elon averaged 10pts/10rbs this season.”
