Hicks is having a monster season and using his size to control the paint. He scored 27 points vs Arcadia in a tense rival game and added two dunks showing is athleticism. Hicks is developing right in front of our eyes and he could be the reason Lincoln Prep gets over the hump and brings home a state championship. Watch out for Hicks, he is playing with a ton of confidence.

Hicks turned in a big-time performance vs Carroll, scoring 16 points and adding 17 rebounds. Hicks will be a key for Lincoln Prep as they have the pieces to make another deep run. Hicks is long and does all his work in the paint, especially with his rebounding. At 6’4 he has tons of potential for success and production, and this could be the start of his breakout season.

led the Lincoln Prep boys basketball team and made a significant impact on both ends of the court. His game has improved since last season, as he has transitioned from primarily a post player to showcasing his ability to face up, drive to the basket, and hit mid-range shots. Defensively, he excels at getting into the passing lanes and frustrating opposing players with his intensity. I mean you can just tell that he is excited about defending.
Hicks is noticeably stronger than in recent years, positioning him as an impact player who can utilize his skills to help Lincoln Prep in their quest for another deep State Championship run. He led the team in scoring with 13 points, and I anticipate his production will increase as he gets back into basketball shape after recently finishing the football season. Hicks is bigger, stronger, faster, and more skilled than last year, and he is sure to be a formidable presence in Division IV.

made a massive impact on the defensive end. Just like his three blocks, it was emphatic. Not only did he make a big impact on defense, he finished inside through contact, knocked down a couple of free throws, and hit a mid-range jumper. It was one of the best defensive performances I have seen today.
