About Zaylon

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Zaylon Birdlong has good speed and agility, allowing him to be a dangerous player in transition. His ability to blow past defenders makes him a constant threat to push the pace and create scoring opportunities. Birdlong demonstrates excellent ball control, able to handle tight defensive pressure and create space for himself off the dribble but also is knock down shooter!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Very tough mentality, loves hard coaching, GYM RAT, student of the game! My favorite quote is “ A champion is made on the other side of I don’t feel like it” Inky Johnson

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Helping others , doing community work with my church that my grandfather is the pastor at just developing good leader qualities also being a big brother so being consistent and understanding but also paving the way for others in my community showing my peers that anything is possible to who believes

What type of college are you looking for?

Grateful with whatever god blesses me with!! But definitely a school that’s family oriented you know hard coaching somewhere that will push me to be better

Zaylon Birdlong Zaylon Birdlong Zaylon Birdlong 6'0" | PG Pineville | 2028 State LA made a big jump in the rankings in large part because of development and production. He does not look anything like he did last season. He is bigger, added extended range to his jump shot and his more aggressive on both sides of the ball. On top of all that he uses his new muscle to work his way to the goal, checking all the offensive boxes. Pineville is improving every season, and Birdlong looks like he will be the player to get them back to their intimidating days just a few years ago.
