How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I would describe my gameplay style as a forward transitioning into a guard. I excel in scoring, utilizing my versatility to create offensive opportunities for myself and my teammates. Additionally, I take pride in my defensive skills, applying pressure and making key stops to help my team succeed.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I would describe my mentality as highly passionate and competitive. My love for the game drives me to give my all in every practice and game, and my desire to win shows in my approach on and off the court. I believe that this passion not only fuels my performance but also inspires my teammates to strive for success.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I've developed strong leadership and teamwork skills through my community service at Walnut Recreation Center over the past two summers. Playing for their summer rec basketball team has taught me the importance of effective communication with diverse groups of people. It’s also helped me learn how to balance life and basketball, which is essential for success on and off the court.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I’d say one challenge for me has been keeping my emotions under control. I’m really passionate during the games, and I feel like I either have 100% confidence or none at all. It can be tough to find that middle ground, but I’m definitely working on it!
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college that’s not too close to home, but has a solid basketball program where we can develop as a team and win games! I want to be in an environment that challenges me and helps me grow both on and off the court.
