Malone’s Head Coach just announced he’d be taking a Division I assistant coaching opportunity, giving Wittekind the option to re-open his recruitment if interested. I was impressed with Wittekind’s toughness, throwback style of play and ability to score at the rim and from the mid-range area. Definitely a role player at the college level, Wittekind already plays with a high basketball IQ and does the little things that don’t show up on the stat sheet.
