About Zahmere

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a versatile player who can play all five positions. I focus on making winning plays, whether that's scoring, defending, or creating for my teammates. I play hard on both ends and try to impact the game in multiple ways, not just scoring.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a competitive and focused player who takes development seriously. I stay coachable, I like learning, and I don't get discouraged easily. I like pushing myself and staying locked in to get better every day.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received a certificate and multiple letters of recommendation through the Leader in Me program, recognizing my leadership, responsibility, and growth. I continue to build on those skills through academics and basketball.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've developed leadership, communication, and teamwork through playing basketball and by being in the Leader in Me program. I've also learned discipline, accountability, and how to adapt in different roles depending on what my team needs.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I've faced challenges with consistency, competition level, and developing my game against stronger players. I've used those moments to improve my work ethic and focus on becoming more complete as a player.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college where I can compete at a high level, develop as a player, as a man, son, and contribute to a winning program. I want a place with strong coaching, structure, and opportunities to grow both academically and athletically.
