Lake Orion had an impressive win in the first round and Parks was dominant in the process. He was his typical matchup nightmare self. Parks dominated the mid range and around the rim with athleticism. He finished the game with a 23 point and 10 rebound double-double.

Price-Parks has been a prospect on the rise since the fall. He looked really comfortable working with the ball from the top, where he could utilize matchup advantages and his athleticism. Price-Parks showed a pretty left to right crossover and a straight line drive off of it where he drew a foul at the rim. He looked like he can be very effective as a rim runner and a cutter, converting on a cut-catch-score in the game. Price-Parks finished with 10 points in this game.

Here’s that guy again. Parks scored 18 points in a solid Lake Orion win. He’s had a really good fall and has shown some versatility in his offensive attack. He has a solid mid range jumper to go along with his ability to cut to the rim and finish with force.

Price-Parks used The Expo successfully to make a statement and put his name on some maps. He showed his athletic prowess with a dunk at the rim. But he also showed that there’s more to his game. If defenders stepped in front to stop his finish, Price-Parks proved that he could pull up and bury a mid range jumper.

Parks is committed to Trine University, but will still put his game on display. That says enough for me. I love when a young man competes for the joy of competing. Parks is active defensively and a danger when he fills the wing in the open floor.

The North Oakland Wolfpack dominated today with a balanced scoring effort from their team. I could’ve picked a handful of players but I went with their most physically imposing player which is Price-Parks. Immediately standing out due to his size, Price-Parks grabbed a lot of rebounds on both ends for his team. Showing off a little playmaking and perimeter skill, Price-Parks also made some sweet passes and showed off a high IQ for the game. With such dominant performances today, I hope to see North Oakland Wolfpack challenged against a team closer to their talent level as bracket play wraps up on Sunday.

Parks was turning some heads this spring and looked like a prospect on the rise. He could be in line for a huge year with Lake Orion. It’ll be nice to see how his game looks in HS summer ball. This spring Parks was an efficient scorer that took advantage of opportunities. He was also very active on the glass.
