About Zach

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a Forward and I also play Guard during School Ball, I like to be a pass first type of player and always get my teammates involved as much as possible. But I can still score at all levels. In my opinion, I am a good rebounder, and I am an aggressive player and hustle all the time no matter what.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I don’t let distractions get in the way of my dedication. I always try my best, no matter what I never give up and I always finish what I started. I won’t let setbacks define my game. And I will always sprint back on defense, hustle, and always give it 100% no matter what situation I’m in.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play school ball for Clague Middle School in Ann Arbor Mi, and I also play for Common Bond on the UAF circuit. And a non-sport award that I have is being on the honor roll, and I have been on it all year and every year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I feel like my leadership has developed a lot and gotten better overtime. A part of how I show my leadership and teamwork is always getting my teammates involved, and not only trying to make me better, but helping others around me, and making them better too, and making it so they make an impact. And I’m always trying to look for the open man on the court instead of taking selfish shots.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I think the biggest challenge I face is others trying to bring me down and others doubting me. But I never let these things get to me and I just use it as motivation to work harder and harder and get better every day.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking to play college basketball At the division one level because I always try to be the best I can and try to do the best things I can do, but even if it is not at the division one level, I would still want to play because basketball is my passion. But I’m also looking for a school that can prepare me the best for the future. And I’m looking for a school that has good education.
