9/28/25: Good defensive awareness. Vocal defender. Needs to gain weight/strength in the chest and shoulders. Guards get more physical at the top varsity level (4A) and beyond. Awad has some herky-jerky to his drives, which helps. In order to finish consistently in the lane at the 4A level he will need to get stronger and perhaps bouncier. As long as he stands 6′ or shorter these are requirements to be a lane-scorer. Found a loose ball or two. Nice instincts. Court awareness is better than average. Scrappy. Focused on the right things every play.
