who is also heading to Utah Prep. Townsend was one of the top shooters that I watched this spring/summer. He does a great job of getting his feet set and is very consistent with his stroke. He also gives good effort on the defensive end and stays active with his hands to help cause turnovers.

has been shooting the ball phenomenally well lately. I’ve seen him multiple 3-pointers in more than a few games, and his form as been textbook. He is often in the right place at the right time, and he’s always ready to let it go.

Townsend gave Arbor View’s offense a huge boost with his 3-point shooting on Saturday. Knowing his role, he was moving off ball to get open and Losee lost track of him a few too many times. By the end of the game Townsend had 12 points on four 3-pointers.

Townsend is one of Arbor View’s top shooters. The sophomore can fill it up in a hurry once he gets going. I like how he moves off ball and doesn’t make it easy for his defenders to keep up with him. Expect him to hit a lot of triples for the Aggies.

Townsend caught fire in the second half against Utah Prep Black. Utah Prep was on the verge of overtaking the lead from the Toros, but Townsend connected on three 3’s and seemingly put the game away. It was a clutch performance from the sophomore.

Wil Townsend is another Arbor View guard that I noticed at the Varsity Fall League. Townsend hit a few catch and shoot 3’s in their game against Centennial, which really brought some momentum to the Aggie squad. He also is the type of player who makes the right plays, and doesn’t try to force anything. When it comes to his defense, he stays active with his hands to create turnovers.
