Hickman, a guard out of Souhegan in New Hampshire, is one of the state’s top three level scorers, capable of getting it done in the half-court and in transition. Hickman currently ranks 4th in Division II in scoring, averaging 19.2 points per game through 17 games. The 6’2″ guard has done a nice job of developing his frame, which has allowed him to play through contact both as a driver and as a finisher around the rim. He can hit shots with consistentcy in catch and shoot situations, does a nice job of crashing the offensive glass, and moves well without the ball. On the other end, he can guard any perimeter position and is a willing rebounder from the guard spot. The versatility of his game should make him a good fit for a Division III program next year.

Hickman, a senior wing out of Souhegan High School, is coming off of a season in which he averaged 14.6 points per game and helped lead his team to an 8-10 record. A terrific off-ball mover, he’s an instinctive cutter that uses his length to score at the rim, while also showing the ability to use screens to get open for perimeter jumpers. He’s a willing ball-mover, does a nice job of running the floor in transition, and can make plays for others off the bounce.

Hickman, a member of the 17U Spencer squad, is a talented scorer out of Souhegan in New Hampshire. A big combo guard, he has the ability to score in bunches from all three levels. He makes plays off the bounce as a creator, knocks down shots consistently in catch and shoot situations, and is a strong finisher in transition. While he’s score first, he has the ability to make good reads with the ball in his hands and works hard to get open off the ball. Defensively, he has good instincts off the ball that lead to plenty of steals and deflections, while also showing the ability to rebound in space.

Poised and settled, he does not rush himself and makes decisive passes to his teammates. Hickman has amazing timing and rhythm in his decision-making and has a great feel for when double teams come and find outside shooters. Off the ball, he can stretch the floor from three and is at his best as a shooter in the corner areas. In transition, Hickman can accelerate in a hurry and finish at the rim with his speed and dexterity. Defensively, he gets in front of passes for steals which leads to scoring for himself or his teammates on the other end. Hickman lead guard ability with crucial secondary and tertiary skills makes him one to watch in the coming years.
