is a very solid prospect that college coaches should definitely have their eyes on. At his height he has the versatility to play on the perimeter and inside the paint. On the perimeter he can shoot the three-point shot and he can drive to the basket putting the ball on the floor against opposing players. In the post he uses his height to get shots up over defenders above or below his height. With this being said he creates so many mismatches with his offensive versatility. Wesley should definitely be on college radars already if he isn’t.

provided an efficient offensive flow with his versatility, making him a valuable passing and scoring option out of the corner and dunker’s spot. His intelligent off-ball movements allowed him to consistently create opportunities, whether it was through backdoor cuts as his teammates penetrated or spacing out for catch-and-shoot chances. Wake also showcased the ability to put the ball on the floor and create his own shot, even when working with his back to the basket. He was particularly effective in pick-and-pop situations, where his shooting range and ability to mislead defenders allowed him to get open while also freeing up teammates. His shooting threat forced defenses to stretch out, which in turn opened up more space for his team’s ball-handlers to attack in the paint or operate in mid-range. Wake’s ability to contribute on multiple levels made him a critical component of the team’s offense.

Wesley was able to dominate the paint in Barbers Hill’s matchup against Tyler Legacy. Despite having a big defender to go against, Wake showed his ability to readjust and finish over the top of his matchup while absorbing contact. Wesley also lit up the scoreboard from the three point line, showing his ability to step out and hit contested jumpers from long range or handling the ball in a pick and roll scenario, taking the defender to the rim. Wake will play a big role for the Eagles this upcoming season due to the graduation of a key players from last year, so he will be counted upon to capitalize on open looks and matchup advantages. Wesley definitely has a high ceiling and the sky is the limit for this 2026 prospect.
