About Walter

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My game play and style similar to Chris Paul. Efficient passer. I can elevate and shoot the mid range while getting to my spots on the floor. I play above the rim. I’m quick and my change of pace creates deception. I can knock down open shots. I’m an on ball defender disrupting the ball handler while picking up full court all game. I’m able to get deflections by being in passing lanes.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Student Athlete. Leading by example. Winning Mentality. Don’t Give Up, EVER. Hard Working. Focused and Determined to play at the next level. Mentor to younger hoopers. Being in great shape is important as an athlete.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Mentor for Swish Everything Basketball camps and clinics. Received leadership award and certificate for coaching and developing 7-11yr old hoopers.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Reliable, Dependable, Trustworthy, Honesty, Respectful, Loyalty.. Teamwork and Leadership. Feeding the homeless

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My father passed away when I was almost 12yrs old. It’s been challenging to continue to work and build on and off the court while going through the grieving stages. I want to make my father proud. Being a student athlete is rewarding and I’m honored to be a leader on my team.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college opportunity that will prepare me for an NBA opportunity. I’m looking forward to excelling at the highest level.
