About Vaughn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Offense like Iverson and defense like Jordan.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Dawg mentality on the basketball court or football field. Easy to get along with. Leader on and off the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes. I’m a youth leader at my church. I play drums and saxophone in school and drums at church. I have earned honor roll multiple times at my school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership through my Pastors and Coaches in football and basketball. I have helped feed the homeless on Thanksgiving and give toys on Christmas.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

When I was born I had 7 surgeries in my first 4 weeks of life to fix my enlarged kidney. My kidney and bladder were not draining correctly in which I was retaining fluid. I had an external bladder for 8 months that my parents had to flush the valve on each day.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college where I can play basketball or football. Somewhere away from home but not too far.
