Collins boosted his stock during a state championship run at the 6A level with Shawnee Mission Northwest. He’s the perfect compliment to talent and has come into his own during the grassroots season. A strong shooter who will do productive things without the ball in his hands. He’s smart and makes the right play whether passing or shooting. At 6’4 he has the size to compete at multiple defensive spots as well.

Collins was able to be a high energy player for his team, being active on both ends. On the offensive end he was being aggressive and getting into the paint, where he was able to hit some turn around jumpers as well as getting to the rim and finishing through contact. As the day continued and he got more comfortable, he was able to knock down the 3 ball. On the defensive end he was playing the passing lanes and chipping in on the boards as well.
