The Cougars were on fire from deep in this one. The scoring depth from this team continues to be very impressive. Williams gives his team tremendous versatility on both ends of the floor. His ability to run the floor was on display all night long. His length and athleticism provided some exciting, highlight-level finishes at the rim. If Williams can also continue shooting well from the perimeter like he did in this one, look out for the Cougars. This will give them yet another consistent floor spacer to compliment Reynolds, Riley and Vest.

Williams hits the high school level ready to contribute. Good athlete, who rebounds exceptionally well for a guard. Athleticism also on display as he’s already starting to finish above the rim and will soon be a true rim rocker with slams. Good mix of agility and strength on drives, to either glide by defenders. Or the body control and strength to take bumps and still finish. The Ada Cougar already has a strong floor and the ceiling to continue to rise.

‘ game was the very definition of ultra-smooth. He played with a polished, high-level skill set rooted in fundamental sharpness and next-level poise. A master of change-of-pace, Williams kept defenders off balance with patient probes, sudden burst, and crisp pull-up jumpers. His midrange shot was effortless, elevating cleanly into jumpers the moment defenders sagged or got caught flat-footed. A cerebral decision-maker, he rarely forced the issue, letting the game come to him. Whether it was letting it fly from deep or delivering a timely extra pass off a hard closeout, his feel and IQ were always on display.

A potent scoring guard with exceptional feel. Williams operated like a player two steps ahead, instinctively identifying openings before they developed. His shot mechanics were fluid from catch-to-shoot and off the bounce, especially from the midrange and perimeter. Whether spotting up or pulling up in transition, he consistently found clean looks within rhythm.

is a a pure hooper who dropped 26 points in outstanding fashion. An elite three-level scorer and playmaker with an advanced feel for the game and patience, Williams elevated everyone around him by drawing attention and consistently making the right play. Williams didn’t waste dribbles, he broke defenders down with purpose, quickly getting to his attack point, before getting downhill with poise. Once Williams got a defender on his hip, he shifted into surgical mode, maneuvering into his spots with exceptional pace and control. Rather than relying on straight-line drives, he instinctively sliced through defenders using change of direction and crafty footwork to manipulate angles. His hesitation into a lightning-quick first step was deadly, often resulting in straight drives or forcing defenders into tough fouling situations. A true master at drawing contact, Tyse constantly lived at the line when the lane wasn’t fully open. Williams was also a knockdown threat in catch-and-shoot scenarios, but even more lethal off the bounce. Whether it was a one-dribble pull-up, two-dribble rhythm jumper, or a multi-move isolation sequence, his mid-range and perimeter game were next-level. High IQ player, Tyse’s reads were sharp, displaying elite court awareness and vision. He watched over and through the defense, manipulating help defenders to create penetration lanes and precise entry passes.
