Simpson is a scoring point guard with a ridiculously quick first step and slick handles. Those assets combined with his elite athleticism get Simpson to the rim for lay-ins. Once he is at the cup, Simpson can score through contact or with a creative touch. If an opposing team manages to cut him off, Simpson can slam on the breaks and then hit a mid-range jumper. Simpson’s 3-point shot must be respected too. In 2023-24 Simpson averaged 18.4 points per contest and was a 2nd Team All-PJAA selection.
