Robbins is an old school 5 man who shows some flashes being a stretch 5. He has no issue playing on the blocks and has developed a nice set of post moves. The jump he has taken as a player over the last year has been very impressive. He is a tireless worker and is always looking to get better. He had close to a dozen offers and was a priority big for almost every mid and low in the northeast and midwest. Robbins committed to Miami (OH) in August and is a great long term pickup for Travis Steele.

Tyler Robbins Tyler Robbins 6'10" | PF Upper St. Clair | 2025 State PA is in my opinion the top forward in the Pittsburgh area and possibly all of Western Pennsylvania. His offensive game is multifaceted, featuring very good range and a smooth shooting stroke. Robbins has also shown significant development in his post game, displaying a nice array of moves that, combined with his added bulk, make him a dominant force in the paint. Defensively, Robbins’ length makes him a formidable presence, particularly as a help-side defender and shot-blocker. He has impressed during the Live Period and continues to attract significant Division I interest, particularly from mid-major programs.

Tyler Robbins Tyler Robbins 6'10" | PF Upper St. Clair | 2025 State PA cemented himself as one of the premier big men in the Pittsburgh area with a dominant junior season at Upper St. Clair. The 6’10 center showcases excellent footwork and coordination for a player his size. But he is more than just a back-to-the-basket threat. Robbins can step out and knock down jumpers from the perimeter. Robbins’ impact also shows up on the defensive end of the floor, where he is an elite shot blocker. He also controls the glass. Robbins plays with a high level of intensity and competes hard on every possession. After being named the Class 6A WPIAL Player of the Year, Robbins’ strong play has carried over to the AAU circuit this summer. He is drawing quite a bit of DI attention. Recently has received offers from Duquesne, RMU, and Pepperdine.

Tyler Robbins Tyler Robbins 6'10" | PF Upper St. Clair | 2025 State PA put himself squarely on the Division I radar after a breakout senior season at Upper St. Clair. The 6’10” forward averaged a double-double. Robbins has excellent length and mobility for a player his size. He uses those physical tools to be a tremendous defensive presence, providing excellent help-side rim protection as an elite shot blocker. Robbins is also a dominant force on the glass. On the offensive end, Robbins has continued developing his skill level to pair with his height. He has range out to the three-point line. Robbins can also go to work on the interior with an array of polished back-to-the-basket moves and soft touch around the rim. After being named the Class 6A Player of the Year, Robbins has carried that momentum over to the AAU circuit. He’s put up big numbers. Programs like St. Francis and Loyola have identified his immense upside at the next level. As he continues adding polish, don’t be surprised to see higher-major programs getting involved.

Tyler Robbins might be the best big man in the WPIAL. He averaged a double-double and was named the WPIAL Player of the Year. He has become stronger over the years and is an absolute force in the post. Tyler has an unexpectedly smooth shooting stroke for a player of his size, with the capability to stretch defenses out to the perimeter. He is also a big time shot blocker. He should have a big AAU season this summer, and I expect some offers to start coming in soon.

Upper St. Clair big man, Tyler Robbins Tyler Robbins 6'10" | PF Upper St. Clair | 2025 State PA , led the Panthers to their second WPIAL title over the last four seasons. The 6-foot-9 forward finished with a 22-12-5 effort in a dominating performance on both ends of the floor. Robbins’ post positioning was excellent throughout the night, and he carved out space down low by consistently sealing off defenders. When he received the ball in the low post, he showed great footwork and soft touch around the rim. On the defensive side of the floor, Robbins impact went beyond the box score. He met his season average of five blocks per game and played with great anticipation as a shot blocker, but he impacted nearly every shot that Baldwin attempted throughout the evening. Robbins altered countless shots in the paint and forced Baldwin into a lot of bad shots simply due to his presence down low.
