has officially returned to the court. The 6’3 guard unfortunately missed this past high school season due to an injury, but he’s completed his rehab work and suited up for the
LV Knicks
in July. He had a few strong performances and his shot looks great. As he enters his junior year, he has decided to transfer from Paragon Academy to Trinity Prep. Look for him to make some noise with them and he may be moving up in the ranks soon.

Really excited to see Borders after not catching him during the HS season. He’s the type of player capable of having success with the ball in his his hands, or as a finisher. Don’t be surprised to see the talented guard leave the event with a number before his name.

Borders put together a solid Spring, improving his grade in almost every offensive category. The Swiss Army Knife knocks down corner threes, can push the break off a defensive rebound, and has proven to be an accurate passer this Spring.

I’ve gotten an opportunity to see Borders a quite a few times recently. He must be putting in some work this Spring, because he’s one of the most improved players I’ve seen since the end of the season. At times he can play anything from the 1, 2 or 3, showing an improved ability to dribble, pass and shoot. He showed off those skills last weekend at the April Bash. Word is he will be transfering to Green Valley, if he continues to improve his skills at this rate, look for him to make a real splash by the time the season rolls around.

Borders is a long rangy athlete that gets downhill and slashes. He’s spending his Grassroots season running with the Punishers, who have a long history of developing prospects. Has physical tools to be a breakout candidate.
