About Tristan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I model my game after Kawhi Leonard—quiet, focused, and efficient. I take pride in locking up on defense, using my strength, footwork, and instincts to shut guys down without gambling. On offense, I’m calm and calculated. I get to my spots, especially in the mid-range, and take high-percentage shots. I don’t need to be flashy—just effective. Most importantly, I let my game speak for itself.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m obsessed with constant improvement and pushing myself to the limit every day. Losing fuels me, and winning means nothing unless I’ve earned it. I hold myself—and my teammates—accountable to the highest standard. I thrive under pressure, embracing the grind because I’m focused on becoming the best.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in the Preparing Tomorrow’s Athletes AAU basketball club and have been on that team ever since the 5th grade. I’ve worked really hard with them and have only got better and better as the days went on.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I lead by example, giving 100% in practice and pushing my teammates to match that energy. I keep the team focused, especially when things get tough, always reminding them of our goals. I hold everyone accountable, ensuring we stay disciplined and work hard together. In high-pressure moments, I step up, leading with confidence and helping everyone stay composed.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m really looking forward to the possibility of going to the University of Texas because I know it would take my game to new heights. The coaching staff, competition, and overall environment there would challenge me in ways I haven’t experienced before. I believe it’s the perfect place to develop my skills and grow as a player, while also opening up more opportunities for my career.
