If Kuminga was the most impressive 2029 athlete we saw, then Edwards was a close second, and the Canadian forward put his physical tools to use consistently while flashing an enticing foundational skillset in the process. Edwards moves incredibly well for a young prospect his size, with impressive pop around the rim as well that he displayed as a rebounder, finisher, and shot-blocker. His flashes of ability spacing the floor as a shooter and creating his own shot off the bounce were just icing on the cake, giving Edwards a chance to establish himself as a national name in the long run if he’s able to incorporate them into his game more fully in structured settings.
