A good size guard has a skill set that allows him to be a facilitator showing patience, ball movement up top. He gets aggressive off ball looking to put points on the boards. He’s attacking the basket, finishing from different spots, gets good lift on the mid-range, has a 3 pointer that’s going in more often than not. He’s squaring up with form around the perimeter, or coming down in rhythm. Has the size and strength to rebound, defend bigger players, good footspeed to defend away from the basket.

Beechler comes over from the Central Valley. He was a top prospect in the Class of 2028 there. He’s a well built guard, can handle, and pass like a point guard. He can create his own shot opportunities. He’s strong on drives to the basket handling contact, has good lift attacking the rim and pulling up for mid-range jump shots. He can hit 3’s on the catch or coming down in transition. He plays with energy and effort. He’s still finding his way with this group.
