Class of 2028 Rankings Update Top Newcomers

PH Norcal has updated the class of 2028 rankings. Between Spring and June when players are with their high school teams we were able to put eyes on new, up and coming prospects to add the 2028 Class. These are the top prospects to enter the updated rankings.    Beechler comes over from the Central Valley. He was a top prospect in the Class of 2028 there. He's a well built guard, can handle, and pass like a point guard. He can create his own shot opportunities. He's strong on drives to the basket handling contact, has good lift attacking the rim and pulling up for mid-range jump shots. He can hit 3's on the catch or coming down in transition. He plays with energy and effort. He's still finding his way with this group.       His first season on the Varsity, a long wing prospect comes off the bench. He's a real threat to knock down 3's on the catch. He has work to do polishing up his handles, but does take care of the ball, has good post entry passing, will post up on occasion. He has lengthy arms and good movement defending on the perimeter, helps rebound. He's got a frame to add muscle, probably still growing.     Being the tallest player on his team at 6'5. He often defends bigger players. He has strength, moves his feet, goes straight up with two hands, he boxes out. He can defend on the perimeter. He's a rebounder, has improving handles to get it, and go up court, he'll pass up or go coast to coast. He's an improving perimeter player. He's comfortable shooting 3's. The lefty shows hard dribbles going to the basket, or pulling up for short jumpers.     He's a solid body combo guard, a good ball handler, has balance, makes good use of his body and dribble in a physical way on his way to the basket. He's a ball mover up top when he's not bumping his way inside for paint jumpers, and contact layups. If you give him too much space, he has range to hit 3's from a distance. At 6'0, he's a strong rebounding guard.     He didn't play lot on the Varsity last season. He's made improvements in the Spring playing on the UA Rise Circuit against quality competition. He's a strong body, defends multiple positions. He has strength for paint and decent foot speed on the perimeter. He's a ball mover, makes cuts to the basket, will catch and finish going up strong around the rim. He can get paint points, and rebounds.     He's a good 3-point shooter on the move, has a quick release. He moves around the perimeter looking to free himself for an open look. He spots up in corners for catch and shoot 3's, feeds the post. He handles a bit, might bring it up, help relieve ball pressure. He's an active and alert defender, positions himself to help.     He's a big guard, can play forward at this level. He gets his fair share of rebounds. He makes good cuts without the ball to finish strong going up off two feet in the paint. He helps bring the ball up court, handles pressure okay. He sees the court, makes the extra pass, will make long passes up, and across the perimeter. He has 3 range can shoot off the dribble, a good size body, and solid dribbles to drive it from perimeter to paint. He has the size to defend bigger players.     He'll be a contributor his first season playing up on the Varsity. He's a good size G/F with improving skills away from the basket. Improving handles, solid body for drives into the paint, plays through contact. He can take and make 3's, at times. He's got strength, no stranger in the post area. He can be physical willing to mix it up for points, and rebounds inside.
