One of the few players in the article that I’ve seen play in-person before this summer, Trey has made big improvements over the past few years and not just to his game. It seems as though he’s grown a few inches and put on some weight, which is particularly helpful as he navigates driving lanes. A willing and able passer, Selbig is a threat with the ball in his hands. Aside from passing and scoring, Trey also moves well off the ball and is an above-average rebounder for a guard. As a bonus, I will always notice players who are respectful towards officials.

Poised shooting guard/small forward that shows patience as a handler while being an effective play maker. Utilized ball screens under tight pressure and attacked downhill to draw contact. Made extra commit on drives to make kick outs for assists or saw cutters for scores. Comfortable pushing tempo off D boards and fighting through contact. Overall had solid 2 way activity with length.

Treyton has the unique ability to play both smaller and bigger than his listed height. His ability to guard both bigs and guards makes it difficult to create mismatches against him. On the offensive end, Selbig creates his own looks from all three levels, although he must convert those quality opportunities at a higher rate.
