Pitts showcased sound decision making and speed blazing past defenders when put in isolation on offense. Treyshawn made several tough jumpers over the outstretched arms of defenders and had several dime-dropping assists to open teammates that had good looks at the basket. His hustle and speed on both ends helped TXP 17u in the clutch to capture momentum and get some key stops/buckets.

Blazing speed and quickness, getting baseline to baseline while weaving in and out of traffic with purpose and intent, applying constant pressure in transition. Pitts brought energy and competitiveness to the game with his defense, feeding off his teammates and raising the level of toughness. Most of all he proved to be a lockdown defender who took pride in his defensive impact, shutting the ball down and cutting off drives with his lateral movements and anticipation, consistently disrupting offensive rhythm.

Treyshawn is a lightning-fast point guard and he’s one of the most talented players I saw all weekend. His crossover is un-guardable and when you pair that with his burst off the dribble, it’s an absolutely lethal combo for the opposition. He carries himself with confidence and a fieriness that you can tell stems from an intense passion for winning and the game itself. He has the ability to finish through contact and he gets to the line often. He has a toughness to him that’s hard to shake and his ability to create on the drive is fantastic. He has good hands that he’ll use to snag the ball from his assignments and pick off opposing passing lanes. He’s a pure scorer and a walking bucket. I’m fully expecting Pitts to draw a ton of attention this year and I can’t wait to see it.
