How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a point guard, I pride myself on my basketball IQ, unselfish playmaking, leadership, and ability to control the game's tempo while creating opportunities for my teammates. When I shift to shooting guard, I become a dynamic scorer, moving off the ball to find space, knock down shots—especially from beyond the arc—and attack the rim. My versatility in seamlessly transitioning between facilitating

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a pretty laid back guy but on the court, I play with confidence, intensity, focus, and a relentless drive to win. I give 100% every possession, thrive under pressure, and embrace challenges head-on. I value teamwork but stay confident in my ability to take over when needed.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am very involved in my church and young adult group. I enjoy serving and giving back to the community using my gifts and talents that God has given me. I also help with sports programs for kids in my community.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have grown as a leader in so many ways on the basketball court. Creating play opportunities, encouraging my teammates, and leading by example have helped me establish great relationships on and off the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I faced a big challenge being face-guarded all junior season. It forced me to adapt, find new ways to get open, and think quickly. This experience strengthened me mentally and sharpened my skills, helping me push through adversity.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college with a strong basketball program, academic support, and a focus on sports management or business. I want a place where I can grow as both a player and a student, with a competitive team atmosphere and opportunities to balance athletics and academics. It's also important to me to find a school where I can continue to grow my faith.

Trey was easily the most impressive rising senior that I watched in June. The two attributes of his that stood out to me were his scoring ability and stamina. He made one open 3 to start the game, which opened the floodgates. Then, contested jumpers started to fall from the mid-range and beyond-the-arc. Finally, he seemed to get to the basket whenever he wanted, because his entire game had opened up. This all goes without me mentioning that it was his 4th game of the day. Most players seemed fatigued, but not Oldenburg. Trey was still able to play most of the game with little rest and went all-out the entire time he was on the court. I could absolutely see him being a Division 2 All-State nominee this upcoming high school season for Jefferson.
