Expert Analysis
Tony Roe | Prep Hoops Scout
A quick guard who does a majority of his damage inside the arc, Johanns averaged 12.2 points and 3.4 assists per game as a sophomore for the Saints on nearly 47% shooting. He’s not much of a 3-point shooting threat at this point, and he needs to improve at the charity stripe, but he’s good in the mid-range and around the rim.

A sophomore wing who showcased the ability to score from all three levels throughout the afternoon, Johanns was impressive with his feel for the game and ability to play with or without the ball in his hands. He can attack slower-footed defenders off the dribble and get to the rim, and he showed good form on his jumper with range out to the arc comfortably. He’s a good athlete with length who runs the floor well, and after averaging a little over 2 points a game as a freshman, he looks like a real player for the Saints as a sophomore.
