About Tresson
Expert Analysis
Josh Kalb | Prep Hoops Scout
Tresson made an immediate impact for Holy Cross as a freshman, stepping into the starting lineup and proving he could hold his own against varsity competition. He showed confidence with the ball in his hands, scoring in different ways while also keeping teammates involved in the offense. His ability to contribute across the board stood out, as he averaged 10.6 points per game and added 4.1 rebounds, numbers that led all returning players for the program. At 6-foot-3, he brings valuable size to the backcourt and gives Holy Cross a versatile piece who can score, rebound, and facilitate. With that experience under his belt, he looks poised to take on an even bigger role for the Cougars.

Ohler was a double figure scorer for a very young Holy Cross squad this past season. Tresson was thrust into a starting role and was able to escape the freshman campaign with some solid numbers and the potential to be much more. Tresson has good size at 6’3 and could see his numbers really climb next season as he has room to improve his overall shooting.

Ohler had a very good freshman season for Holy Cross and looks like a long term impact player in the 502. Tresson showed he can score and facilitate with the ball in his hands. He needs to continue to improve his overall shooting numbers and get stronger but you can say that for most freshmen in Kentucky. Definitely a name to monitor, going forward.

Ohler is part of a talented young core at Holy Cross and is playing at a high level, especially lately. Tresson is a top 2028 guard in Louisville and while his numbers are good, he also passes the eye test. Ohler has good court vision and is a good passer in the half court.
