Typically, Nwokolo’s impact on the game goes beyond what the stat sheet says, that was the case again today. He finished with a team-low 7 points, but he played the entire game and had 8 rebounds, half on the offensive end. He is an incredible defender and guarded any play on the court. He is a great option to use in a switch defense. He has displayed improved three-point shooting throughout the entire year. He is a player you want on your team and I think Toledo got a real steal with him.

I believe Saturday was the best game of Nwokolo’s career as he flat out dominated on both sides of the court and willed his team to the regional championship. With one of his future college coaches in attendance, you saw the vision Toledo has for the talented wing forward. Nwokolo was knocking down shots on the perimeter, scoring at the rim and even blocked numerous shots on the defensive end of the court. If Nwokolo can continue this level of play, the Raiders can win the state championship.

Nwokolo was a big-time player in this one late. He made a big difference on the glass on both ends. He tipped or grabbed a ton of rebounds for the Raiders in the 4th that really killed momentum for Coffman. His defense was great all night. He has great athleticism and size for defense and fills that role well. He got going on the offensive end with some nice blow-by layups. Knocked down some big spot-up threes in the 2nd half.

Nwokolo played an incredible game on Tuesday night. He made a huge impact on the game by just doing the little things. He was outstanding on the defensive end all night. He would lock down and speed up whoever he was guarding. He was great at creating turnovers or ruining the offensive play for Newark. He then would go on to be dominant on the boards on both ends. He got a ton of second-chance points, and a lot came in critical moments when the Raiders needed some points. He would always get the rebound at the highest point. He also showed off a much-improved jumper tonight. Knocking down threes and nice one or two dribble pull-ups.
