and the Kimball Knights had the chance to face off against one of Texas’s top up and coming teams in the Brennan Bears. Brown put on a nice performance, playing with a chip on his shoulder, and going at Brennan like he had something to prove. Brown proved to be a tremendous athlete, he’s well known as the most athletic point guard of his class in the state and it showed throughout the game. The senior floor general burned defenders with his speed and quickness and once he got inside he showcased his explosive bounce. Brown even produced a few highlight plays, the most notable coming halfway through the second quarter when T’Johnn made a fantastic change of pace of right to left crossover that led him around his man and into the paint where he then rose in the air off one foot, and obliterated the rim, posterizing two contesting defenders in the process. A more noteworthy aspect of his game was his playmaking, facilitating, and court vision, Brown did an excellent job of constantly scanning the floor in search for a teammate to feed and he made sure to get it to them in a timely manner with speed, precision, and accuracy usually hitting them directly in their hands, a true lob threat as a passer and natural shot creator for others. has the opportunity not only to lead the Kimball Knights in scoring, steals, and assists but he’s also in a position to lead the Knights to their 3rd straight State Finals appearance. Currently, Brown holds an offer from Murray State University but his recruitment is expected to take a significant spike throughout the upcoming season. This ultra-athletic guard has all of the tools it takes to lead an offense, he’s a natural at the point guard position with a terrific feel for the game and elite scoring instincts. Most of all, T’Johnn is super explosive, elusive, crafty, and a gritty lockdown defender that gives an extraordinary amount of effort. Brown has also become one of the most dangerous transition finishers in the state due to his blistering speed and quickness along with the creativity off the dribble, body control, and craftiness in the air.
