Robinson is a shifty player who uses a lot of quick bursts and movements to get by defenders. He has tight handles he uses to get anywhere he wants to on the court. His quick crossover helps him blow by defenders for easy layups or open jump shots. Robinson has a good eye-fake he will use when driving to the rim getting defenders to fall for it. He can create some athletic finishes around the rim hanging in the air longer than normal. At 6’3″ he can guard multiple positions on the perimeter.

TJ Robinson (Immaculate Conception): Louisville commit TJ Robinson showed exactly why he’s one of the best lead guards in the country with his ability to effortlessly score the ball. The lefty guard gets downhill with ease, utilizing his herky-jerky ball handling and quick change of pace. Robinson displayed some elite playmaking once he reached the second line of defense. His decision making in the lane was superb as he displayed elite court vision looking for weak side lobs and utilizing hang lays to finish over taller defenders. In the event Robinson was unable to get all the way to the rim, he was adept at stopping on the dime for short pull-up jumpers in the lane where he cashed in.
