About Tj

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A fast-paced, confident guard who plays with high energy and heart. I’m aggressive but under control, can create my own shot, make plays for others, and compete on both ends of the floor. I don’t hesitate, I play with pace, and I embrace the moment.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a confident competitor with a strong work ethic and a team-first mindset. I don’t back down from challenges and I stay composed under pressure. I’m coachable, focused, and always looking to learn and get better.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Honor student. Involved in academic enrichment programs and committed to maintaining strong grades while balancing athletics.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed leadership by leading through effort, communication, and setting the tone with my work ethic. I value teamwork and understand the importance of making the right play for the team. Through basketball, I’ve learned accountability, discipline, and how to support and uplift my teammates on and off the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of my biggest challenges has been competing against older and more physically developed players. It has pushed me to improve my skills, mental toughness, and confidence. Balancing academics, training, and travel has also taught me time management and responsibility. Each challenge has helped me grow as both a player and a person.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that values player development, strong academics, and a competitive basketball culture. A program that emphasizes hard work, discipline, and growth on and off the court is important to me.
