About Thomas

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a coachable hard working athlete. I understand that the hard work on the floor is done when no one is watching. I am working on my basketball skills outside the designated practice times. I have a high basketball IQ that helps me elevate my teammates around me. I also hold myself accountable so that I may lead by example to my teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Hard working and emotionally invested in every game. I mentally know I have to set the standard at practice but also during game time so that my teammates can elevate their game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in the fundraising team for my high school class of 2028.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As I have developed, my hard work ethic is something other teammates have mentioned as a high quality in me. They see how I carry myself on the floor but also off of it and that winning mentality makes them want to bring their game to another level. I lead by example.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

There are challenges in every game. Sometimes the shots don’t fall or a call doesn’t go my way. There are so many aspects to basketball game, I need to have a short memory and realize it’s part of the process of getting better.
