Behrmann is a lot better than I thought he was. I watched him play for Medfield this season, but he really excels when he’s playing with and against better competition. The 6-foot guard is extremely skilled with the ball in his hands and gets to the hoop consistently—once he does, he uses slow steps extremely well and is MUCH stronger than he looks. But Behrmann also strokes it from three and is a super intelligent passer and mover without the ball. The Medfield graduate will attend Tilton next year for a post grad, and high D3’s should be on him like a cheap suit.

Behrmann is one of the most skilled players in D3 and has consistently put Medfield on his back all season. The 6-foot guard is an incredibly lethal scorer in isolation and can finish over larger defenders in the paint with awesome touch but is also great at getting his three-point shot off under pressure. He has an awesome feel for the game and a beautiful shooting touch, which is a great combo. Expect some big performances from Behrmann moving forward.

Behrmann has had some incredibly impressive performances as of late for Medfield High School. Though I haven’t watched a full game of his, the 6-foot guard’s highlight tape from the last couple weeks is filthy. He has a beautiful-looking shot—which he can make off the dribble and off the catch—but he also has an awesome feel for the game and passing ability once he drives closeouts and touches the paint. Defensively, he has super active hands and good instincts in the passing lanes. Behrmann is a high IQ, fundamentally sound combo-guard who should absolutely find a college fit when the time comes. The senior is lighting it up as of late, and some more big performances will only help his recruitment this spring.

Behrmann, a senior guard out of Medfield High School, has been on an absolute tear scoring the basketball lately, including a three-game stretch recently where he averaged 33.0 points per game. If you’re looking for a breakout performer out of Massachusetts this winter, you don’t have to look any further than Behrmann, who has already helped Medfield capture their first TVL Small School title since 2016. The 6’0″ guard has some wiggle with the ball in his hands, shows the ability to finish over size in the paint with touch, and does a nice job of turning defense into transition offense. He has a quick first step off the bounce, does a nice job of playing off different gathers as a driver, and can knock down shots in isolations from behind the arc with consistency.
