He’s got an impressive wingspan he utilizes well to protect the painted area. Offensively, he does well to move without the ball into spots to be a threat. He’s one to watch with the NC Spartans this grassroots cycle.

Thiep Kuany Thiep Kuany 6'4" | SF/CG Florida Coastal Prep | 2027 FL is a strong-built combo guard who loves to drive and finish at the rim. Nimble and well-balanced, he can spin through defenders and he uses a soft touch that keeps his efficiency up. Kuany tends to draw fouls and collects a ton of easy points and the free throw line. A smooth and confident ball-handler, he can make nice reads on his drives by finding cutters and open teammates. Kuany’s jump shot can be slow and too measured, but the form is repeatable and should improve with time. Defensively, he has the body to be a real menace on the ball and has already shown weakside rim protection flashes. Kuany has a lot of skills that make him carry a high ceiling and one to monitor going forward.
