Terrence Burri was a standout player from Lewisville ISchool who truly impressed with his defensive versatility both inside and outside the perimeter. On the perimeter, he was highly active, diligently guarding opposing ball handlers who attempted to create their own plays. On the inside, he effectively rotated to protect the basket, coming over from the weak side to block shots against Seven Lakes. Offensively, Terrence’s play finishes well in traffic, providing a soft touch when he creates opportunities for easy paint points. However, his attempts at close shots often resulted in him absorbing a lot of contact, leading to frequent trips at the free throw line.

Burri exploded this past spring and summer as an athletic chess piece for TTTY’s Gold Squad that ended up making national waves on the Adidas circuit. Now he’ll be finishing up his basketball education at new program South Central Prep. He’s a versatile defender, with the foot speed to cover wings and guards, while also bouncy and tough enough to mix it up in the paint. The hunger he seemed to play with was a great sign for a springy and raw athlete. Now with a chance at extended games and more focused training, Burri should blossom as a priority target for college programs.

Team Trae Young ‘s 3SSB Gold team looks set to be one of the better teams in Oklahoma. The addition of versatile forward prospect Burri is a big a boost to their roster, as he brings size and athleticism needed to compete with out of state programs. He also played with an outstanding motor on Saturday with a very active day on the glass and getting out in transition where he showed off his plus athleticism by running the floor hard and bounce around the rim.
Right now his production profile is that of an undersized forward, who can play bigger than height thanks to wingspan, athletic ability and motor. But he has the athletic profile to potentially become more of a perimeter threat as a 3/4 hybrid. Young for his grade, Burri looks set to be a player who could make one of the bigger jumps of any 2025 prospect.
