About Tehri

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a fast paced guard who can break down defenders to get to my spots and get my teammates open. I also utilized screens as a smaller guard so I can space out the floor and get an open shot or set my teammates up for a good cut.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

In terms of my mental I want it more than everyone else, I never had that much help in my journey so I had to teach myself everything. This makes me more gritty and strengthens my mental toughness. In terms of my personality I am a leader, I am not afraid to do what it takes to get better.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in teaching kids basketball at the Advent Health Fieldhouse with the Winter Haven Boys Basketball Team.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Skills I have developed over the years of playing basketball is communication, leadership and better listening and learning skills.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Challenges I have faced throughout my journey are injuries. In my freshman year I broke my foot causing me to miss a crucial year of basketball, but a constant challenge I have been faced but since I face this challenge it has gotten me better is that I have to work 2x harder because I don’t have the resources everyone else has.

What type of college are you looking for?

The type of college I am looking for is a high major school which will also further my basketball career and my academic career.
