Te’Darius Wicker’s athleticism was a crucial factor for PDR Elite 17U throughout the games I watched him play. His athleticism allowed him to finish multiple offensive plays, converting easy points. As he finished plays, he absorbed a lot of contact which resulted in several trips to the free throw line. Defensively, Te’Darius showcased his versatility by effectively defending players of varying sizes and strengths. In the paint, he consistently blocked shots and altered opponent’s shots.

Elite feel for the game on both sides of the ball, reading drives early allowing him to get chase-down or weak-side blocks, showing great anticipation and effort as a help defender. Offensively, Wicker took whatever the defense gave him, often going straight into triple threat, reading the backline of the defense to dish to cutters or identify angles to attack. He drove hard and exploded off one foot, showing high-flying potential in his future. He never gave up on a play on either end, always battling for the board or making second and third efforts to win the possession, impacting the game with his motor.

Offensively, he gets to his spots, finishes through contact, and shows excellent body control. He has a diverse finishing package and a strong feel for when to attack.

Defensively, Wicker is disruptive. His length, foot speed, and instincts allow him to contest shots and switch across multiple matchups effectively. For PDR Elite, he was the engine, providing energy, leadership, and big plays when it mattered most. There’s a rawness to some parts of his game, but his ceiling is high, and he competes with the kind of edge you can’t teach.

Te’Darius is a long, smart forward that absolutely dominates the offensive side of the ball in the best ways for his PDR Basketball squad. There were points during his games where he appeared simply unstoppable with his length and incredible ability to finish at the rim. He flies into contact and can absorb it and stay focused enough to make the shot and get to the line for gravy points. He’s aggressive on both ends of the floor, using his lengthy frame to disrupt and create chaos for his opponents. He can lead the charge up the floor whenever needed with a guard-like ballhandling ability and he communicates well with his teammates. He’s a scary player to come across because of his impressive versatility and his ability to control the game offensively.
