Leonard was the leading freshman scorer in the state of Indiana last season putting up an incredible 20.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.8 steals per game for a North Vermillion High School team that went 16-8. Most impressively, the 5’11” guard shot 60-124 (48.4%) from three-point range. He also shot over 50% from the field overall and was just shy of 90% from the line. Again, it can be difficult to evaluate small school prospects, but that level of efficiency and three-point shooting ability translates beyond the Class 1A level.
