Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I am an intelligent/crafty Point Guard who can easily learn and run any system. As a guard I have shifty ball handling skills that allows the offense to open up smoothly and I can find teammates and set them up to score easily. I can also score whenever my team needs me to. I’m a great defender on and off the ball and force many turnovers. I average 20ppg, 5apg 3rpg and 4spg.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am a very humble and confident person who was raised to have integrity, respect and morals. I am dedicated and consistent to hard work and believe in our working everyone in the classroom and on the court. I take my work ethic with me everywhere I go. Most importantly I put God first before anything. Without him I would not be successful in life.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I have received awards in school and in my church. In school I received a leadership and core value awards.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I have developed into a Leader as a Guard on and off the court over the past few seasons of High school and AAU Basketball. Being a leader is a big responsibility because you have other teammates watching and looking up to you and you want to set a good example, Meaning go 110% in practice every rep. Being the first one in and last one out. Also I lift up my teammates at all times.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
When I had to be the one to take a game winning shot at the end of games. I’ve experienced this alot sometimes I’ve succeeded and at other times I’ve failed but I always stay strong no matter what. I’ve also made bit plays when trailing in games that helped us come back and win with less than two minutes on the clock. I get steals and set my offense up. Either I get a bucket or make right read.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a University that offers my desired major in Physical Therapy and where I can play basketball and continue to develop my game. The goal has always been a D1 program but there is nothing wrong with D2, D3 or JuCo.
